Messrs Craig Wilson Ltd sold 3107 Sheep at their First Sale of Breeding Sheep.
Mule Lambs Averaged £180.89 (+£34.71 on the year)
Mule Gimmers Averaged £258.80 (+£49.88 on the year)
The show was kindly sponsored by Carrs Billington, Ayr and was ably judged by Mr George Allan who awarded the Champion pen of Gimmers to Messrs J Paterson, East Dykes which realised £290, however Topping the Mule Gimmers was George and Diane Allan, Highfield with a Powerful pen of Gimmers making £305.
The Reserve pen went to Messrs McDonald, Ardoch and Threepland selling for £265.
Champion pen of Ewe Lambs went to a great supporter of the cause here at Craig Wilson Ltd Messrs R & M Dunlop & Son, Pinvalley selling for £205 for a pen of 40. Pinvalley Farm sold 120 to Average £195.
The Reserve Champion pen went to Messrs Ireland, Lightshaw for a Superb pen selling for £200.
Lightshaw's whole lot Averaged £197 however, Topping the Ewe Lambs was Team McLarty on behalf of The Firm of Shawhead for a Beautiful pen of 40 selling for £210 and averaged £194 for 150 sold.
